From Jazz Trio to 8-piece Show Band, The Escalators have an ensemble to suit every occasion. Choose your own adventure! Here is an outline of the ensembles available:

For small spaces we can tuck our Jazz Trio into a tight corner & still give your event the class & sophistication it deserves.

For Cocktail Functions our Jazz ensemble comes in Instrumental Mode or with Vocals. (Trumpet &/or saxophone are available as options.) If required, the Jazz Ensemble can get your guests dancing too!

Our standard line-up for dance music is a 5-piece band:  Vocal harmonies, guitar, keyboards, bass (double-bass & electric) & drums.  

Increasingly popular is our 6-piece band which adds trumpet. This brings a wonderful flavour to the jazz set & gives dance tunes a boost with powerful horn lines. (Our trumpet player also adds extra vocals & percussion).

For Jazz lovers you can't go past the rich tones of reeds: Alto sax, tenor sax & flute.  Our "reeds man" plays them all with a creativity that will have your guests in awe.

When groove is the goal, you can't beat a dedicated percussionist! Congas, bongos & an array of hand-percussion.

Our sound and lighting equipment is of the highest standard, capable of meeting the requirements of large venues & outdoor locations. We also work closely with a professional Sound/Lighting Operator who we can do a "package deal" with on larger events.
